This made me laugh.... My daughter was a late walker b/c of some muscle tone issues and when she finally started walking up/down the steps, I would literally hold my breath the entire time she made her way down. Eventually, I started turning away and just giving her to the Lord. :) Your boys are so cute.
My daughter has given up crawling up the stairs and thinks she's a big girl and just wants to walk up and down. Eeks! She fell once, but thankfully nothing too major other than a big bump and a bruise.
How about some couch cushions at the bottom of the stairs? ;-)

At least your letting them go up and down the stair and not being too over protective. We do have to watch out for them but we also have to let them spread their wings and fly alittle too.lol Love ya, Leona
Up the stairs they go is right! All four at one time. WOW! They are so cute when they turn around and make sure you are there :)

oh what fun! So neat to watch them discover stuff like this. It's the simple things. So, did you have a pile of pillows down at the bottom? lol. They must be so proud of themselves! They look so grown up. Gee, perhaps you've taught them to go up to bed already? Go girl! Love it.

They will get the hang of it before you know it! Then you'll laugh when you can't remember the days when the DIDN'T go up and down the stairs by themselves. LOL!

Too cute! I am always amazed at your ability to keep your blog updated. I have a 7 yr. old and a set of 14 mo. old twins and marvel at how you do.
wow! all 4 at once. I would be holding my breath too. :) Luke has just now almost mastered going down...while walking. We have had a lot of breathless stair trips too! they are so cute
I have ONE learning to go down the stairs and that is a chore. I can not even imagine how you do it with FOUR!?!?
OH! I feel the same way! I hold my breath whenever emma and Will attempt the stairs. (neither are very good either)
They'll be up and down like lightning before you know it.

That is so cute, teach them to come down backwards on their tummies. Mine would scoot down one step at a time that way they wouldn't fall. Good luck!
