Life IS Beautiful…

What I love most about my sweet friend Megan’s photography, Megelaine Images, is her eye for capturing LIFE.  It’s not staged and uncomfortable; It’s capturing the sweet moments of your child’s life.  She brings out the beauty of an ordinary day, and makes you fall in love with the small, precious moments you might have otherwise missed.

These images have brought me to tears more than once, knowing that a beautiful time in our lives has been captured.  I cannot thank Megan enough for sharing her gift with our family. It’s absolutely priceless!

A Fresh Look for 4tunate

Well with all the “bathroom talk” yesterday, we had to “freshen” our place up a bit with a new blog header.  Brad whipped this design up for me last night and I’m in LOVE!  (Attention employers he’s available for hire!) =) I think it’s my favorite design yet! 

Although I these 2 hold a special place in my heart as well…

 

Where DID my babies go?  They really do grow up so fast, don’t they? 

The pictures on our new blog header are just a taste of some GORGEOUS photography work that Megan from Megelaine Images captured for us a few weeks ago.  I can’t wait to tell you more about her amazing talent, and share some of the pictures that brought me to tears.  As a mom who’s behind the camera so often, it means the world to have pictures WITH my boys and to capture our everyday life… Okay I’m going to choke up just typing about it, so for now, enjoy the new view! 

Oh Henry!

Oh sweet Henry, you're sooooo lovable with those crystal blue eyes and a smile that's just plain irresistible.    

You wear the title of firstborn well, my little man.  You must be right in the middle of the action at all times, and you can outdo Curious George's curiosity any day of the week. I love how you are my adventurer, and biggest cuddle bug at the same time. 

(Henry's sporting a war scar on his forehead in these pictures after losing a fight with the door frame. It's long gone now, but I'm sure will be replaced with another shortly.)

Clark's Up!

I almost forgot I was doing this little series of individual posts of the boys!  Shame on this mama!

 

Up to bat is Clark Thomas.  He's a keeper!  Love his sparkling eyes and innocent expressions. (Don't let them fool you!) Although he appears super serious in these shots, Clark's been our little jokester lately - Mr. Personality.

Emotions through the Viewfinder: Brooks

My sweet talented friend, Megan, was over giving me a hand the other day and brought her camera along to snap the boys "in action".  Megan has an amazing gift for shooting in "true form".  Here's a little sample of Brooks' emotions that she captured during a small window of time.

2 Week Notice...

It's Coming!  It's Coming!

Our little preemies will be two years old in 14 days.  Goodness Gracious!  It's absurd!

I showed the boys their one year video this morning and was reminded of how much has truly changed in one year. Alright, not gonna get overly sentimental just yet. (Now would be a great time to invest your savings into Kleenex stock. I have a feeling that it's just about to spike in about 14 days.)

Continuing on...So while I work on some birthday business I thought I would repost some of the highlights from last year's birthday.  Many of you have joined us this year and missed out on last year's celebration, and for the rest of you it will hopefully provide a fun flashback.

I know I will never forget my blue bathtub of icing one year ago...but the pictures were sooooo worth it!
